Family Bible Study

Children learn first and best in a family setting. Parents have primary responsibility to teach their children about God (Deuteronomy 6:4-9, Ephesians 6:4). Ideally, Bible curriculum and Bible class teaching supplement what children learn at home.

Here are ways you can encourage your child using features of Shaping Hearts for God curriculum.

  • Student Workbooks Levels 1, 2, and 3 have a Parents’ Page for each lesson that informs and guides parents in helping their children.
  • Student Workbooks page 2 is a Bible Reading chart that can serve as a guide for family Bible reading. Using the oldest child’s chart will include the readings for younger children.
  • Flash cards are available to encourage and challenge children as they learn. Friendly sibling competition may be a fine motivator!
